Parking Payment, Toronto Street

Parking Payment, Toronto Street, originally uploaded by odannyboy.

Love the "Maximum Time" button, since that's probably what most people do most of the time when parking at a meter.

I wonder if the system returns your card before or after you purchase the time.

I've fallen in to the trap of walking away from some ATM machines once I get my cash (= goal complete) while the card is still in there.

I've walked away from airport parking ticket machines once I've paid the stated amount, but with the ticket still in the machine.

Ok, I'm a little absent minded but I feel that some of these machines have the UI nailed down perfect but fall over in completing the task in the right order if you see what I mean.

And what a messy layout - imagine all you are supposed to read, simply to purchase (...) parking ticket...
